General Terms and Conditions of Stay

Definitions

"The Tenant" refers to the person who made the reservation, as well as any guests authorized to stay on the Property, as indicated at the time of booking. To rent at Montboulard, the Tenant must be at least 21 years old. Proof of age may be requested. "The Property" refers to the furnished accommodation (studio, classic, superior, or executive, or guest room), the grounds, and the swimming pool located at Domaine de Montboulard, 16800 Soyaux, France. "The Rental" refers to the duration of the stay, beginning at 3:00 PM on the first day and ending at 10:30 AM on the last day, as specified in the reservation. The Tenant is not permitted to remain on the Property beyond this period, unless prior agreement has been reached between the parties. "Pet" refers to one calm and well-behaved dog or cat, permitted on the Property. For multiple pets, written consent from management is required. Pets remain the sole responsibility of the Tenant, who must clean up after them. They are not allowed in the pool area.

Our services

The Property offers the following services: Cleaning before arrival of the Tenant. Provision of bed linen and towels. Access to high-speed Wi-Fi and green spaces, sports facilities, and the swimming pool, subject to conditions. Provision of heating, electricity, and hot and cold water. Parking. Short stays include: change of bed linen and towels; weekly cleaning; access to the laundry room; provision of firewood. Depending on the chosen long-stay rate, the above services may be added. Breakfast is included in the bed and breakfast rates. Breakfast delivery to the cottage is available at an additional cost. Each cottage and the main house has a barbecue; charcoal is not provided.

Payment

The reservation is provisional until a valid payment guarantee is received (credit card, bank transfer, or cash deposit) according to the policy of the direct booking or the intermediary (Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia, etc.). Payment for short stays is due upon arrival. No refunds will be issued for early departures. For stays longer than one month, rental and additional service payments for each month are due before the start of the rental month.

Tenant's obligations

The Tenant is responsible for the actions of their guests and any pets they may have. The Tenant agrees to leave the premises clean and tidy. A cleaning fee may be charged in case of neglect. Any damage to the accommodation, furniture, or outdoor areas must be reported immediately and will be charged. Smoking is prohibited inside the premises. Respect for other tenants and neighbors is essential. Excessive noise is prohibited after 9:00 PM and before 8:00 AM. Common areas are to be shared respectfully. Smoking and bringing drinks and food around the pool are prohibited. The private parking area for the cottages must be respected. The Tenant is advised not to leave valuables unattended. Montboulard cannot be held liable for theft or loss. A €75 fee will be charged for the loss of the keys to the accommodation by the Tenant.

Management obligations

Management is committed to providing equivalent accommodation should the accommodation become unavailable. Otherwise, rental payments will be refunded. Management will do their best to repair or replace any defective equipment or malfunctioning service reported by the Tenant as soon as possible.

Management responsibility

Montboulard cannot be held responsible for: Illnesses, injuries, or damage to the property of the Tenant, their guests, or animals, related to the use of the facilities (swimming pool, wood-burning firebox, kitchen, barbecue, sports equipment, etc.). Damage to or loss of vehicles parked in the parking lot. Temporary interruptions of services (electricity, water, etc.). Loss or damages caused by weather conditions, riots, wars, strikes, or other events beyond its control. Loss or damages if the property is destroyed or severely damaged before the start of the rental period. In this case, the amounts paid will be refunded within 7 days.

Applicable Law – Competent Jurisdiction

The rental agreement is governed by French law and falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.
