When using a GPS, directions to Montboulard may be incorrect. It is best to set your GPS to either Leroy Merlin or McDonald's in Soyaux, then follow the signs. Montboulard is less than one kilometer from either location.

  • What time is check-in and check-out?

    Regular check-in is from 3pm and check-out is until 10:30am. 

  • Can we bring pets?

    Pets are always welcome at Montboulard.  We ask that pets are not left alone in your room.

  • What is provided in the gîtes?

    Kitchens are fully equipped with cooking essentials.  All bed and bath linens are provided, including pool towels.  Most gîtes have enclosed gardens with barbecue grills and many have wood burning fireplaces. Firewood and charcoal are provided in season.  All gîtes except the Soleil have private parking and garden.

  • Do you offer meals?

    French continental breakfast is served daily.  For dinner, we propose the Vrai & Bon line of prepared entrées and main plate dishes.  In addition, you will find over 70 restaurants within 15 minutes of Montboulard, offering the full range of cuisines and prices.

  • Where is Montboulard located?

    We are located 10 minutes from central Angoulême.  We are 600 metres from shopping at Carrefour, separated by a forest road.  You might hear cars in the morning and evenings, but it is a tradeoff for the convenience of easy access to numerous facilities and public transportation.
